About the game

Fire ‘n’ Hot is a devilish delight of an online mobile casino slots game. It is true to its roots with plenty of vintage fruit-based iconography although it adds a bit of spice to proceedings with its penchant for fire. The background would be an inviting mix of red, orange and yellow if those colours weren’t an explosive ball of hellfire!

The Gameboard, a classic 5 reels, 3 row setup, is bookended by red devil pitchforks, which display the direction of the 5 winning lines in the background. You heard that right: Fire ‘n’ Hot features a teeny 5 winning paylines, even less than the developer’s usual, and still stingy, 9. However, as the game is largely going for a retro feel, we’ll let it off in this instance.

Half a dozen fruit symbols make up the low values on the Gameboard: cherries, a lemon, an orange, a pair of plums, grapes and a juicy watermelon. The single high value symbol is also an evergreen icon in the world of slot machines – the lucky number 7.

Not to be confused with the high value symbol, there is also a 7 WILD, which can be substituted for any standard symbol and bursts into flames when used in a winning combination. Lastly, stars will appear randomly on the board as mystery SCATTERS. Spin between 3 and 5 of them to activate the bonus game.

The number of SCATTER stars that trigger the bonus will be hiding one of the bonus symbols from the game. When you click on a star to reveal the hidden symbol, all the stars transform into that symbol and burn into flames. The bonus win is the payout for that symbol combination.

The verdict

Fire ‘n’ Hot is mostly an online slot with a vintage feel based on many of the early physical slot machines. It does however, have an odd fire fixation and a bonus game that, while appreciated, offers little.
