Discovering Secret of Alibaba

Introduction to the Game

Secret of Alibaba is a video slot developed by Raw iGaming. Featuring 5 reels, this adventure-themed slot offers players a dynamic gaming experience and several engaging features. Players can place bets from as little as £0.20 up to a maximum of £2.00 per spin.

Reel Structure and Ways to Win

Secret of Alibaba does not use traditional paylines. Instead, it utilises a ways-paying system with 5 reels. The height of each reel changes with every paid spin, revealing between 3 and 5 symbols per reel. This results in a variable number of ways to win, ranging from 243 up to 3,125 during base gameplay. Wins are awarded when matching symbols appear on adjacent reels from left to right.

Symbols and Their Functions

  • 8 regular paying symbols
  • Wild symbol: substitutes for all other symbols except Scatter and Bonus. Does not appear on reel 1.
  • Scatter symbol: triggers Free Spins when appearing on specific reels.
  • Bonus symbol: activates a special bonus round when landing on certain reels.

Key Features Explained

  • Dynamic Ways: With every paid spin, the number of symbols displayed on each reel changes, creating varying numbers of ways to win.
  • Jazmin Expanded Wilds: Whenever one or more Jazmin Wild symbols contribute to a win, they expand to cover the entire reel.
  • Ali’s Monkey Modifier: On any spin, Ali’s Monkey may appear to open all blinds, increasing the ways to win to 3,125.
  • Gold or Bandit Bonus: Triggered by landing 3 Bonus symbols on reels 2, 3, and 4. Players pick from 12 vases, with 6 picks and can receive Ali Protections, gold prizes, a monkey character, or Free Spins with a multiplier. The monkey may summon a bandit to steal unclaimed gold; if Ali Protections remain, the reward is saved. A gold vase containing Free Spins will award 5 to 10 Free Spins with a multiplier of 1 to 4. These Free Spins are played immediately after this bonus round.
  • Open Sesame Free Spins: Activated by hitting 3 Scatter symbols on reels 1, 3, and 5. Players choose a volatility level, then a wheel determines the number of Free Spins and multiplier:
    • Higher Risk and Reward: 6–20 Free Spins, multipliers between x1 and x50
    • Medium Risk and Reward: 6–18 Free Spins, multipliers between x2 and x10
    • Lower Risk and Reward: 8–16 Free Spins, multipliers between x3 and x6
  • During Free Spins, the game expands to a 5-reel, 7-row format, offering between 3,125 and 16,807 ways to win. The Jazmin Expanded Wild randomly moves between reels on each Free Spin, while regular Wilds are not present. Free Spins cannot be retriggered.
