Getting Started with Ruff Heist

Ruff Heist is a video slot created by Play'n GO, featuring 5 reels and 10 fixed paylines. This slot offers a range of features aimed at providing a dynamic gaming experience while keeping the rules simple and accessible for all players. Bets range from a minimum of £0.10 up to £5.00 per spin. The outcome of each round is based on the displayed symbols and the paytable. The RTP for this game is shown within the game.

How the Paylines and Wins Work

All wins are determined based on active paylines. A win occurs when matching symbols form a combination with no interruptions on a payline, starting from the left-most reel and moving right. If you win on more than one payline within a single round, each win is added together. At the end of any round, winnings from special features, Bonus Games, or Scatters are combined with standard payline wins. Only the highest combination per payline is paid out.

Adjusting Your Bet and Starting Play

You can set your preferred bet size using the bet buttons. Adjust the amount one step at a time using the plus and minus controls. Once your bet is set, click the Spin button to start the round. When the reels stop, your prizes are determined based on the paytable.

Features and Bonus Mechanics

Dog Collect Feature

The Dog Collect symbols are central to the game’s bonus action. Landing a Dog Collect symbol will claim any visible Diamond Cash symbols on the reels. During the base game, Dog Collect symbols can appear only on reel 5. In Free Spins, they may land on any reel from 1 to 5. In some cases, you may land a Dog Collect symbol without any Diamond Cash symbols present.

Dog Collectors Explained

  • "Badge": Collects all Diamond Cash symbols in view.
  • "T-Bone": Upgrades all Diamond Cash symbols before collecting their values.
  • "Archie": Upgrades all Diamond Cash symbols before collection, and the action can repeat between 1 and 5 times for increased potential.

If multiple Dog Collectors appear together, any upgrades to Diamond Cash symbols are applied once before each collector acts. Diamond Cash symbols upgrade as follows: 2x to 4x, 3x to 6x, 4x to 8x, 6x to 10x, 10x to 15x, 15x to 20x, and 25x to 30x.

How to Trigger Free Spins

Free Spins are activated by landing Scatter symbols. Collect 3 Scatters for 10 Free Spins, 4 Scatters for 15 Free Spins, and 5 Scatters for 20 Free Spins. The bet amount and paylines remain the same during Free Spins as in the trigger round. Bets cannot be changed during an ongoing round.

Free Spins Trail

During Free Spins, every Dog Collect symbol that lands will light up a position on the Free Spins trail. With every fourth position, the Dog Collector is upgraded, and you receive an extra 10 Free Spins. The position on the trail is counted at the end of each spin, and any upgrades are awarded on the next spin.

Cash Vault Feature

At the start of each spin, a random cash value is added to the Cash Vault. The values possible are 1x, 2x, 5x, or 10x your total bet. When you reach the end of the Free Spins Trail and run out of Free Spins, the accumulated total in the Cash Vault is paid out. If you complete the trail before using all your Free Spins, the Cash Vault keeps collecting values on every spin until all Free Spins are finished.

Game Continuity and Unfinished Rounds

If your game is interrupted, all bet and game data are safely stored. You can continue your unfinished round from the interruption point upon reopening the game. Bets from incomplete games that remain unresolved will be void after 90 days. Any game malfunctions will void all pays and plays.
