Getting Started with Phoenix Fury

Understanding the Symbols and Base Game

In the base game, the phoenix symbol acts as a wild. This symbol can replace all others except for Scatter and Cash Prize symbols to help form winning combinations. Phoenix wilds appear only on reels 1 and 2. The base setup is a 5x3 grid with 243 possible ways to win on every spin.

Game Rules Explained

  • Payouts per symbol are calculated based on a £0.90 bet amount.
  • Winning combinations require one symbol from each adjacent reel, starting from the leftmost reel.
  • Where the same symbol appears more than once on a reel, or with a substitute, each pays that way win again.
  • Only the highest win is paid for each way combination.
  • Wins on different paylines are added together.
  • Scatter wins are awarded in addition to normal ways wins.

Free Spins Feature

Landing 3, 4, or 5 Gold Phoenix Scatter symbols will award 10, 15, or 50 free spins, respectively. When free spins begin, a bonus reel is added to expand the grid from 5x3 to 6x3, increasing the action. The Phoenix Wild Respin Feature can also be triggered during free games. If this feature is awarded during free spins, the free games continue after it finishes. The bet used for free games is the same as the triggering spin.

During free spins, 3, 4, or 5 Gold Phoenix Scatter symbols can trigger an additional 10, 15, or 50 free games, respectively.

The Phoenix Wild Respin Feature

The Phoenix Wild Respin Feature is activated when a Phoenix Wild symbol appears on either reel 1 or 2. If a Phoenix Wild lands only on one of these reels, another Phoenix Wild may be awarded at random on the missing reel, unfurling the bonus.

  • Cash Prize symbols display cash values and form winning combinations by appearing on adjacent reels. Non-adjacent Cash Prize symbols do not count towards a win but are still visible.
  • When this feature is triggered in the base game, reels may expand to add extra rows or reels, forming up to a 3x3x4x4x4x4 grid. One respin is awarded in this case.
  • When triggered during free spins, reels 3, 4, 5, and 6 may expand to four symbol positions high, and two respins are awarded.
  • During the feature, reels 1 and 2 and all positions with Cash Prize symbols lock until the end of the feature, with respins occurring automatically.
  • When new Cash Prize symbols appear during respins, those symbol positions also lock, with more respins to follow if there are any left.
  • If, after a respin, reels 3, 4, or 5 have no Cash Prize symbols, one position on each of those reels may be randomly transformed into a Cash Prize symbol.
  • If all symbol positions on the reels fill with Cash Prize symbols, respins stop and the total of all cash prizes is paid out for each remaining spin.
