Getting Started with Lion's Hoard
Lion's Hoard is a 5-reel, 20-payline online slot developed by Red Tiger Gaming. Players can choose bet sizes ranging from £0.10 up to £5.00 per spin. All features and progress are saved per stake, allowing you to switch between different betting levels and retain your progress.
Understanding Game Symbols and Features
Diamond Sockets and Reels
Each reel, except the middle one, displays four Diamond Sockets at the top. At the start of each betting level, 2 sockets on each applicable reel are filled. Landing Diamond Scatters fills these sockets. When all sockets for a reel are filled, that reel transforms into a Diamond Reel containing only locked Mystery Stones. These stones reveal the same random symbol on the next and subsequent spins, remaining in place until they form part of a winning combination.
White Diamond Scatter
The White Diamond Scatter can appear on any reel except the middle one. It increases the progress of its reel by one socket for each symbol that lands. Multiple White Diamond Scatters can land on the same reel, even atop existing Mystery Stones and Super Wilds. If the number of White Diamond Scatters exceeds the available sockets, the Reel Multiplier for that reel increases by one for each excess symbol.
Blue Diamond Scatter
This scatter may appear only on the middle reel. When it lands, it instantly fills every Diamond Socket on all reels. If any reel’s sockets are already full, its Reel Multiplier instead increases by one.
Mystery Stones
Once a Diamond Reel is active, it is filled with Mystery Stones that remain locked. With each spin, these stones reveal a random identical symbol. If the symbols form part of a win, the stones unlock, are removed, and the Diamond Sockets for that reel reset to zero.
Reel Multiplier
Each Diamond Scatter landing on an active Diamond Reel increases the Reel Multiplier. This multiplier is applied to all winning lines involving symbols from that reel. If multiple Diamond Reels with active multipliers contribute to a win, the multipliers are combined, up to a maximum of 96 times the win amount.
Super Wild
The Super Wild symbol substitutes for all paying symbols. This special symbol is 1x4 in size and only appears when revealed by Mystery Stones. If four small Wild symbols emerge from Mystery Stones, they merge into one large Super Wild and remain until they contribute to a win.
How Lion's Hoard Progress Features Work
Progress features, such as locked symbols and Diamond Sockets, are saved at each betting level. You can move between different progress levels by altering your stake. If promotional free spins are awarded, your current main game progress will be saved and available once free spins are completed. The state of your game, including any locked features, is retained indefinitely across sessions at each stake.
Placing Your Bets
The total stake for each spin is the sum of your line bets across all 20 paylines. Adjust your stake at any time using the plus or minus controls, within the minimum of £0.10 and maximum of £5.00 per spin.
