Getting Started with Lava Lava

How the Game Works

Understanding Symbols and Features

Wild Symbol and Multipliers

The Wild symbol can substitute for any symbol except the Scatter. Whenever a Wild is part of a winning payline, a multiplier is applied based on the number of Wilds present in that combination:

  • 1 Wild: 2x multiplier
  • 2 Wilds: 4x multiplier
  • 3 Wilds: 8x multiplier
  • 4 Wilds: 16x multiplier
  • 5 Wilds: 32x multiplier

Scatter Symbol and Explosions

The Scatter symbol triggers an explosion, removing all other symbols vertically and horizontally except for Wild and other Scatter symbols. Exploded Scatter symbols are collected in the Bonus meter. When 3 Scatters have been collected and the Avalanche feature is not active, the Bonus game is triggered or retriggered, awarding 10 or 5 free spins respectively. The Bonus meter resets between each spin and free spin.

The Avalanche Feature

After each payline win, the participating symbols are replaced by new or existing symbols dropping from above. This process continues as long as new payline wins or Scatter explosions occur. In the base game, the Avalanche feature is triggered when a Scatter lands on the reels. During the Bonus game, Avalanche is active on every spin.

Bonus Game with Free Spins

  • The Bonus game is played with the same bet amount as the triggering spin.
  • At the start of each free spin, 1 to 3 Wild symbols are randomly added to the reels.
  • In the Bonus game, Wild symbols begin with 3 lives. Each time a Wild is part of a winning payline, 1 life is consumed. When all lives are used, the Wild explodes.
