Fu Dao Le is a 5-reel slot game developed by Light & Wonder. This guide will walk you through how to set up your game and introduce the features you might encounter as you play.

Setting Your Bet

How to Play

Wild Symbols

  • The WONUS symbol acts as wild in a winning combination, substituting for all available symbols except ENVELOPE 1, ENVELOPE 2, and CLUMPED WILD.
  • In the base game, WONUS appears on reels 2, 3, and 4 only.

Special Features in the Base Game

Expanding Wilds

  • If a partial stack of CLUMPED WILD appears on reel 3, it nudges to fill the entire reel, becoming a full stack.
  • CLUMPED WILD can substitute for all symbols except WONUS, ENVELOPE 1, and ENVELOPE 2 when part of a winning combination.
  • CLUMPED WILD appears on reel 3 only during the base game.

Mystery Stacked Wilds

  • Each reel contains mystery symbol positions that are all replaced with the same randomly chosen symbol once the reels stop.
  • Mystery positions may be replaced by any symbol except CLUMPED WILD, WONUS, ENVELOPE 1, and ENVELOPE 2.

Red Envelope Jackpot

  • Before any base game spin, ENVELOPE 1 may appear on reel 1 and ENVELOPE 2 may appear on reel 5.
  • If both ENVELOPE 1 and ENVELOPE 2 land together, the Red Envelope Jackpot is awarded.
  • This feature is available at any bet amount during the base game only.
  • ENVELOPE 1 appears on reel 1 only; ENVELOPE 2 appears on reel 5 only.
  • The watermarked symbol in ENVELOPE 1 and ENVELOPE 2 acts as a substitute for the symbol shown and pays as listed in the paytable.

Jackpot Bonus Feature

  • A full stack of CLUMPED WILD on reel 3 may randomly trigger the Jackpot Bonus Feature during the base game.
  • In this feature, pick from 15 coins until three matching Jackpot labels have been selected.
  • Matching three awards that corresponding Jackpot (MAXI, MAJOR, MINOR, or MINI), ending the feature.
  • The feature can occur at any bet level; a higher total bet increases the chance of activation.
  • This feature is available only during the base game.

Free Games Bonus Feature

  • Landing three scattered WONUS symbols starts the Free Games Bonus Feature, awarding 8 free games plus a payout of 2x your total bet.
  • All free games are played at the bet level in place when the feature was triggered.
  • Additional free games can be won: each scattered WONUS on reel 5 gives one extra free game.
  • The feature ends when no free games remain.
  • During free games:
    • WONUS acts as wild in a winning combination, substituting for all symbols except WILD, 2x WILD, and 3x WILD.

    • Any 2x WILD symbol on the reels doubles all wins for that spin.
