Getting Started with Bison Boom

Bison Boom is a video slot game featuring 5 reels and 3 rows. Your aim is to spin the reels and create different symbol combinations. When winning combinations appear, these are highlighted and a payout is made.

Understanding Paylines

Paylines are preset patterns running across the reels where matching symbols can award payouts. In Bison Boom, all paylines are fixed and cannot be adjusted. There are 25 paylines in total. Wins on paylines are counted from left to right, starting with the first reel. A win is achieved when the same symbol lands on adjacent positions along a payline.

How Bets Work

Each spin you play will cost a total bet amount, set before spinning the reels. All paylines are always active during each spin.

Payout Details

Payouts are based on the winning symbol combinations that appear on the reels after a spin. Only the highest win per symbol combination on a single payline is paid. The paytable will show the payout values for every possible winning combination according to your current bet. Your overall win from a spin is the sum of all individual payline wins. If more than one winning combination lands on a single payline, only the highest is awarded. The displayed ‘win over’ value represents the highest potential win on a single spin and is rounded down.

Wild Symbols

The Wild symbol can land during the base game only. It substitutes for any symbol other than the Scatter symbol, helping to create more winning combinations.

Scatter Symbols and Bonus Symbol

The Bonus symbol serves as the scatter in Bison Boom. It only appears during the base game and can land on reels 1, 3, and 5. Wild symbols cannot replace Scatter symbols. The Scatter symbol does not have its own payout.

Bison Wild Boom Feature

During the base game, Mini Dynamite tokens may appear on the reels. These tokens collect into the Wild Crate. After any spin, the Wild Crate can randomly explode, releasing up to 15 Wild symbols onto the reels for additional win potential. This feature is exclusive to the base game.

Feature Upgrade Meter

If you land 2 Scatters on reels 1 and 3, you’ll receive a token added to the Feature Upgrade meter. Collecting 10 tokens unlocks a new row in the Bison Spins feature, while collecting 40 tokens opens all available rows. The meter resets after the tokens are used. Your progress on the meter is recorded separately for each bet value.

Bison Spins Bonus Round

Unlock the Bison Spins feature by landing 3 Scatter symbols. Bison Spins is a Link&Win™ feature, starting with 3 respins and includes any unlocked rows based on the progress of the Feature Upgrade meter. In this round, the reels contain only Moon symbols, blank spaces, and various feature modifier symbols. Each blank position re-spins individually. When any Moon or modifier symbol lands, the respins reset to 3. Moon symbols stay locked in place for the duration of the round.

  • Red Moons: Carry a multiplier up to 7x your bet.
  • Blue Moons: Offer a multiplier above 7x your bet.
  • Feature modifiers: Can upgrade Red Moons into Blue Moons.

There are seven possible modifier symbols during Bison Spins:

  • Collector: Combines all landed Moons into one.
  • Adder: Adds a multiplier (1x, 2x, 5x, 10x, or 20x bet) to all Moons for one spin.
  • Persistent Adder: Adds its multiplier to all Moons for every subsequent spin.
  • Splitter: Splits random Moons into double or quadruple Moons.
  • Doubler: Doubles the value of random Moons.
  • Key: Unlocks one previously locked row.
  • Bomb: Unlocks all locked rows and adds a random number of Moons.

This feature concludes either when no respins remain or all reel positions are filled. If you manage to fill all positions with Moon symbols, an additional prize of 2,000x your bet is added to your total winnings. All bets made during Bison Spins are the same as the triggering spin.

Upsizer™ (Where Available)

Following the activation of Bison Spins, you may have the option to use the Upsizer™ feature. Upsizer™ allows you to select a guaranteed feature modifier for an extra calculated cost. These options can include removing 1x Moons, guaranteeing the appearance of Bomb, Splitter, or Persistent Adder modifiers during Bison Spins. The Upsizer™ Max setting chooses all options where available. Please note some Upsizer™ features may not be available above certain bet levels, and not all settings are accessible in every version of the game.

General Information and Game Integrity

Bison Boom may not offer all features or settings in every version. If a malfunction occurs, all bets and payouts are void. Any changes to the rules will be carried out in line with regulatory requirements. In case of a disconnection, the game will display your final result when you return, and your balance will reflect any win or loss. The most recent game outcome is always shown. If your last request did not reach the server, your previous results will be displayed. Any feature requiring a player decision can be resumed upon reconnection.

Return To Player (RTP) Information

The Return to Player (RTP) indicates the theoretical percentage of total money wagered that is paid out in winnings over time. The RTP value can be shown as a single percentage or may vary with different stages of the game. It is initially calculated through simulated gameplay, dividing total payouts by total bets. Values reflect the maximum expected returns and do not change. The current RTP value is displayed within the game itself.
